Body Cells Involved In Immune Responses Cause Fat And Muscle Loss During Infection: Study

Researchers from the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, California, US, found that while the muscle loss helped the mice fight and survive the infection, the fat loss had no impact on the mice's ability to fight or survive the infection.
