Food Allergy In Infancy Linked To Childhood Asthma: Study

Babies with a food allergy were almost 4 times more likely to develop asthma at 6 years of age, compared to children without a food allergy, the study found. The impact was greatest in kids whose food allergy persisted to age 6 as opposed to those who had outgrown their allergy.
